A building reminiscent of the early days of the city of Belo Horizonte, the Serraria Souza Pinto was transformed into a cultural space in 1997, almost a century after its construction. The Serraria (Sawmill) is a piece of equipment of Fundação Clóvis Salgado intended mainly for the celebration and holding of large events, fairs, congresses and festivals.

Its structural versatility is provided by the multiple character of its architectural project, suitable for installation and assembly to host events of the most varied artistic, cultural, business, social formats.
